Kia ora, Talofa, Ni hau, Greetings. I am the Councillor for Maungakiekie Tamaki. It is an honour to represent you on the Governing body of Auckland Council.
I was on the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local board for seven years. This along with my background as a lawyer and in community engagement through Red Cross has given me the experience to be a strong local voice. I have lived here for 13 years and have a track record of action from setting up the local community patrols, being a past member of the local business associations, the Tamaki Estuary Environmental Forum, the Manukau Harbour Forum and involved in local community groups.
We have a lot of change happening so I will together with the Maungakiekie Tamaki Local board continue to ensure we have the infrastructure to match growth, that we fix our water quality, that we have transport and housing choices for everyone and that Council spends wisely.
